We’ve supported Games Workshop’s annual Warhammer Skulls event since 2021. In 2024, we once again put together and managed an intercontinental alliance of PR agencies. Together, we cinched 687 editorial pieces around the event, with an estimated reach of 1.51 billion UMVs (a combined 5.8 billion UMVs) and estimated views of 30.4 million.
Neonhive alone secured 442 articles across Skulls – including from IGN, ScreenRant and GameSpot – which equalled 4.28 billion UMVs and 18.65M estimated views.
In 2023, we made a goal of facilitating more varied and interesting content surrounding the event by preseeding key media targets earlier than ever before. This strategy, along with pitching interviews and sales-focused pieces, led to 7 feature pieces, 19 pieces centred on relevant offers, and an even greater amount of individual game coverage. Early outreach also meant PCGamer and Polygon covered the announcement of Skulls 2024.
We almost doubled the amount of channels going live compared to 2023, with our three Influencer campaigns reaching:
- Sponsored: Estimated potential 2.3M followers
- Organic: Estimated potential 5.29M Twitch followers, and 30M Youtube subscribers
- Creator Box: Estimated potential audience of 396K on Twitter, and 682K on Twitch
