Wanting to build upon the success of their free-to-play title, Among Ripples (2015), Eat Create Sleep approached us to help devise a pitch to publishers that included an investigation into the market positioning for the second game in the series, Among Ripples: Shallow Waters.
Conducting considerable market research, we focused on exploring the existing audiences for Eat Create Sleep – players that had enjoyed the game’s predecessor and other games from the studio – as well as Among Ripples: Shallow Waters’ potential to reach a wider audience by analysing the game’s closest competitors. This research ensured that we understood where, and how best, to market the game.
As part of our work on this project, we had the honour of helping Eat Create Sleep select the perfect name for its sequel, which has since been picked up by Curve Digital.
